I was most worried about recent bad reviews about this apartment after I have booked it. The management wrote back to assure us that the lift and hot water issues had been resolved and that we will have a pleasant stay. It was very prompt of them in their reply. My family indeed had a wonderful time staying on the top floor. The apartment was huge and adequately furnished and clean. Some minor maintenance would have made the apartment even more pleasant and value for money. The location is right smacked on a busy "pedestrain" street leading to Charles Bridge. And close to Old Town and other attractions. So you may have to put up with some noise as expected. I was surprised there was even a reception and breakfast service given that there are not many apartment units. The staff there are SO genuinely friendly and helpful. I have no problem with currency conversion. I was surprised we were asked to pay whenever is convenient during our stay. We had asked for hand towels, hair dryer and umbrella, and staff was just simply amazing in providing them. The breakfast selection is fairly simple : coffee, tea, eggs, small sausages and cereal. Just enough to kick off our morning. Overall, it is great apartment to stay. The noise is expected since it is smacked on a prime location. Breakfast is simple and limited in selection but enough to start your morning. The staff are just superb.
Minor maintenance needed in the apartment.

location, friendly and helpful staff. Spacious apartment. Had air conditioning, which was necessary as the street was very noisy and we had to shut the windows to sleep at night.
poor maintenance - it looked like the apartment suffered from a lack of spending on basic maintenance - for example: dishwasher broken, problem with hot water in shower, kitchen poorly equipped (very few knives and forks), apartment floors dusty and not properly cleaned.

Convenient. Great location.
I booked this apartment for the a/c and subsequently paying more for the privilege. Our first night we were put in an apartment without a/c. It was 80f, hot and too noisy to have the windows open on the first floor. We were moved to the fifth floor for the remaining two nights and it was much more pleasant and less noisy. We also booked a taxi to take us to the airport and there was an apparent 'mix up' with time, with the taxi arriving 1/2 hour late. Take my advice and double check and triple check she orders the correct time. I even saw her write it down and then she told me I had ordered it at the wrong time. Not great customer service.

a very quiet street with no traffic noise.
we were moved to another subsidary because of problems with the water supply which was caused by a burst pipeline in the street. However this was the responsibility of the water supplier, the hotel offered us another appartment.
